Visitor Facilities:

Small library including local periodicals, monographs, books and other sources; aerial photographic collection. Photocopying is permitted at the cost of 10p a sheet.


Range of information available:

Records of designated and non-designated heritage assets including archaeological sites, monuments and finds; historic buildings including industrial buildings and farmsteads; historic landscape character areas including the Area of Special Historic Landscape Interest of the  Isle of Axholme.  Sources include publications, fieldwork reports, mapping and photographs including aerial photographic collection.  ExeGesis HBSMR software and GIS.

 

GIS data covers all monument types, events, designated areas and includes additional data sets that can be provided as shapefiles or may be consulted in person.

 

Commercial consultations requiring staff time to process are charged a fee dependent on time required subject to a signed data licence (£150.00 for initial hour, £75.00 for each subsequent hour or part hour, charges valid until March 2021).

 


Photocopying is permitted at the current cost of 10p a sheet.
