Access to the HER database and paper files is at present by appointment only via the HER Officer. Desk space is available for visitors at our office in the Royal Berkshire Archives, where we house a small reference collection of monographs, reference books and local journals. Our HER paper files are stored in a separate building so these need to be pre-ordered to be made available during a visit. When requesting to view material please provide as much detail as possible. Please note that we are undertaking an ongoing programme of digitisation of our paper archive, so many requests can now be processed remotely and may not require a visit.
Photocopying facilities are available within The Royal Berkshire Archives (charges apply).
