The project to develop the Heritage Gateway website is a partnership initiative between the following organisations:

ALGAO is the national body representing local government archaeology services on behalf of County, District, Unitary and National Park Authorities.  Its members are senior professional archaeologists employed by local authorities to provide advice on archaeological conservation and management, including the management of HERs.
